MCP Server Registry: 200+ Servers and Growing
The MCP ecosystem is growing fast, and finding the right server for your needs has become a challenge. Our MCP Server Registry now indexes over 200 servers, up from 50 at launch.
What We Added
Each server listing now includes: a quality score based on documentation completeness, test coverage, and maintenance activity; one-click installation instructions for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP clients; community ratings and usage statistics; and categorization by function (database, communication, development, file management, etc.).
Quality Scoring
Not all MCP servers are created equal. Our quality score evaluates: does it have a README with clear setup instructions? Are the tool descriptions detailed enough for AI models to use effectively? Is it actively maintained? Does it handle errors gracefully? High-quality servers surface first in search results.
Server Submission
Anyone can submit an MCP server to our registry. We review submissions for quality, security (we check for obvious vulnerabilities), and accuracy (the description matches what the server actually does). Approved servers appear in the registry within 48 hours.
Ecosystem Trends
The fastest-growing categories are database servers (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), development tool servers (GitHub, Linear, Jira), and AI/ML servers (model management, embeddings, vector stores). We expect the registry to cross 500 servers by the end of 2026 as the MCP protocol gains wider adoption.
