Community Features Update: Stacks, Profiles, and Discussions
Developer tool choices are personal and contextual. What works for a solo freelancer differs from what works for a team at a large company. Today we are launching community features that let developers share their setups and learn from each other.
Developer Stacks
Create and share your developer toolkit. Select the tools you use daily, add notes about your setup, and publish it as a public stack. Browse stacks from other developers filtered by role (frontend, backend, DevOps, mobile), company size, and tech stack. Discover tools you did not know existed by seeing what other developers in your niche use.
Public Profiles
Build a developer profile showcasing your tool reviews, published stacks, and community contributions. Your profile includes your expertise areas (derived from your activity) and a reputation score. High-reputation profiles appear in our reviewer badges on comparison and review pages.
Tool Discussions
Every tool and comparison page now has a discussion section. Ask questions about specific tools, share tips and workarounds, and help other developers troubleshoot issues. Discussions are threaded and searchable, creating a knowledge base that grows over time.
Moderation
Community features include automated spam detection and community moderation tools. Flagged content is reviewed within 24 hours. We have a clear code of conduct: be constructive, cite your experience, and disclose any affiliations with tool vendors. Shill accounts and astroturfing result in permanent bans.
